Job Full Description
Summary/Objective:
The Repairs Clerk is responsible for coordinating our repair orders for our vendors. This includes receiving quotes, inputting them into the system, maintaining and filing the approved quotes and
ROs, and communicating effectively with other Repairs department employees.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Essential duties and functions may include the following. The individual must possess required
knowledge skills, abilities and experience and to be able to explain and demonstrate, with or
without reasonable accommodations that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

- Communicate with vendors to request quotes
- Print and scan all quotes from vendor emails
- Expedite approved orders
- Accurate data entry in QuickBooks
- Analyze current stock levels to identify potential shortages, and determine appropriate repair or replenishment action (expedite/exchange or uplift)
- Ensure all materials supplied are consistent with AIR and Customer requirements
- Identify and report to management any potential material shortages
- Ensure accurate material status is relayed to customers regarding open orders
- Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Interface with appropriate personnel within the logistics chain and customer, to help organize and expedite inventory shipments, transfers, purchase core returns, and repair orders in support of depot level maintenance activities
- All other duties as assigned

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of using a PC for data entry, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks

- Ability to locate and handle parts in a warehouse environment
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports
- Complete work in a timely manner, and perform tasks accurately

Preferred Qualifications:
- Airline experience
- Quantum experience
Other Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in the English language

This position is located in an office environment and requires sitting for long periods of time, keyboarding, and repetitive movements throughout the day. The position may occasionally require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching, overhead reaching, etc. during the work day.
