Job Full Description
As a maintenance associate at this special needs community, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of residents by maintaining the physical infrastructure of our facility. You will be responsible for completing general labor tasks, such as painting, repairing damaged walls and floors, and performing routine maintenance on equipment and appliances.
In addition, you will be tasked with light plumbing work, such as fixing leaky faucets and toilets, and unclogging drains. You will also be responsible for changing AC air filters on a regular basis to ensure proper air quality for our residents.
As needed, you will be expected to pick up parts and supplies for the facility, so a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Other duties may include completing miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in general maintenance and repair work, as well as basic plumbing and HVAC knowledge. They must also be able to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, and work in various weather conditions.
