Job Full Description
Class A CDL Driver no restrictions - 18 wheeler tractor trailer will be transporting loads and using electric pallet jack. Must have flexible schedule will work 5 days a week with Sunday off plus one other day. Have academy experience or at least 2 years of OTR experience.
In this role, you must:
Transport and deliver goods in accordance with schedule, unload or assist in unloading freight, and verify count and condition of goods.
Be responsible for pre/post trip inspections and reporting any fleet equipment concerns or issues.
Be able to operate electric pallet jack.
Operate all equipment in safe, efficient manner, and report any safety concerns to dispatcher or supervisor.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
Report and maintain a satisfactory driving record, and report any citations or chargeable accidents to the safety officer immediately.
Perform or assist in conducting any other duties as prescribed or requested.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE – High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Must possess a Class A CDL commercial driver license. Completion of accredited driving school with 1 year over the road experience or 2 years over the road experience. The location will provide necessary training. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. All other physical requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
