Job Full Description
Class A CDL Driver no automatic restrictions - 18 wheeler tractor trailer will be transporting loads and using electric pallet jack. Must have flexible schedule will work 5 days a week with Sunday off plus one other day. Have academy experience + 1 year of tractor trailer experience or at least 2 years of tractor trailer experience. Must be at least 23 years of age for insurance purposes. Must have valid DOT Medical Card.
In this role, you also must:
Transport and deliver goods in accordance with schedule, unload or assist in unloading freight, and verify count and condition of goods.
Be responsible for pre/post trip inspections and reporting any fleet equipment concerns or issues.
Be able to operate electric pallet jack.
Operate all equipment in safe, efficient manner, and report any safety concerns to dispatcher or supervisor.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
Report and maintain a satisfactory driving record, and report any citations or chargeable accidents to the safety officer immediately.
Perform or assist in conducting any other duties as prescribed or requested.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE – High school diploma or equivalent (GED). The location will provide necessary training. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. All other physical requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
