Job Title: Anesthesia Billing Coordinator
Location: McAllen, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour
Job Overview:
A healthcare provider in McAllen is seeking a detail-oriented Anesthesia Billing Coordinator to manage billing processes and ensure compliance with insurance and healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate has experience in medical billing, strong organizational skills, and expertise in anesthesia billing procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and submit accurate anesthesia billing claims.
- Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and preauthorizations.
- Resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and appeals with insurance providers.
- Maintain accurate records of payments, adjustments, and account statuses.
- Ensure compliance with CPT, ICD-10 coding regulations, and insurance policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in anesthesia.
- Proficiency in medical billing software and knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 codes, and insurance processes.
