Job Title: Civil Construction Estimator
Starting Salary: $40,000 per year
Location: Pharr, TX
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong math skills, experience in civil engineering, and the ability to interpret construction drawings. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, creating proposals, and ensuring civil construction projects stay within budget. Strong communication and punctuality are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects by analyzing specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
- Create detailed proposals for clients, including materials, labor, and time estimates.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other software tools for estimating and proposal creation.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, project managers, and contractors.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience in civil construction estimating.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and estimating software.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail for accurate cost calculations.
