Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, trays, storage racks, conveyors, and machines.
- Enter transactions into the computer system or catalog for accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain the First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory system to ensure proper material rotation.
- Ensure all counts and shipping documents accurately reflect the material and product being shipped or received.
- Report material shortages to the purchasing agent or warehouse supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0-1+ years of general work experience, preferably in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
- Basic math skills and the ability to learn forklift operation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
