Quality Manager

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing processes meet established quality standards and consumer expectations. This role involves training personnel to identify defects, overseeing quality control procedures, and implementing continuous improvement strategies. The Quality Manager also plays a key role in minimizing defects, analyzing production errors, and optimizing quality assurance policies to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct supplier facility audits and support supplier quality programs, as well as participate in customer audits.
•Investigate customer complaints by evaluating and testing returned products.
•Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding discrepancies in product quality prior to production.
•Develop and implement inspection methods, testing procedures, and reaction plans.
•Train personnel in Statistical Process Control (S.P.C.), establish control charts, and create standardized job instructions.
•Perform physical tests on components and raw materials, including color evaluation and other critical physical characteristics.
•Manage the Discrepant Material Location (DML) process, ensuring proper documentation, counting, and compliance with internal procedures.
•Maintain comprehensive audit trails and historical records of received and processed materials.
•Supervise inspection personnel, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
•Ensure compliance with U.L. requirements and maintain U.L. procedures in manufacturing and remanufacturing processes.
•Lead KAIZEN and other continuous improvement initiatives.
•Develop and execute the annual capital expenditure plan.
•Oversee all maintenance activities, including equipment and facility management.
•Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Quality preferred)
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management
•Ability to travel to Reynosa facility
•Manufacturing Black Belt certification (desirable)
•Manufacturing Kaizen certification (desirable)
•Bilingual proficiency (English & Spanish)
•Extensive knowledge of quality systems and maintenance
•Strong ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks
