Receptionist
McAllen, TX
Full time: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
$12/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and customer-oriented Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations, handling incoming calls, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, customers, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Handle inquiries regarding alarm system services, installations, and billing.
- Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service requests.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishments when necessary.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Follow security protocols when handling sensitive customer information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and phone systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with alarm systems, security services, or related industries is a plus.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
