Forklift Operator - Cold Storage
Location: Pharr, TX
Pay Rate: $12.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Potential for 12-hour shifts and weekend work depending on workload)
About Us:
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking Forklift Operators for a cold storage facility in the Pharr, TX area. If you have experience operating a sit-down electric forklift and are comfortable working in a cold environment, this is the job for you! You will be essential in ensuring that products are safely and efficiently stored and prepared for shipping.
Job Responsibilities:

Operate a sit-down electric forklift in a cold storage environment

Load and unload trucks efficiently

Rack pallets in three high racks and stage pallets ready for shipping

Palletize products for shipping

Perform general warehouse duties as assigned

Ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials

Adhere to safety protocols, especially while working in a cold environment

Maintain equipment and report any issues
Requirements & Qualifications:

Previous experience operating a forklift, particularly in a cold storage environment

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Must be willing to work long hours and weekends when needed

Must wear steel-toe boots and coats for safety

Comfortable working in a consistently cold environment
