Job Full Description

Job Posting: Service Advisor

Shift 7:30am-4pm

Pay:$24.04hr-28.85/hr

  • Initiate equipment services and repairs by identifying performance issues and customer requests.
  • Create repair orders, provide estimates, and maintain customer relationships.
  • Inspect equipment, review maintenance records, and schedule diagnostics with technicians.
  • Develop cost estimates for materials, labor, and supplies.
  • Calculate payments and deductibles, and enter repair orders into the system.
  • Communicate estimates and timelines to customers, obtaining approvals and contact information.
  • Record equipment issues and corrective actions, and manage equipment records.
  • Participate in educational opportunities and stay updated with manufacturer publications.
  • Coordinate both mobile and in-house repairs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of service advisor or customer service experience.
  • Proficient in computer systems and point-of-sale technology (Excel intermediate).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality, safety, and equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and telephone skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
