Job Full Description
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to work as Production Operators for our client. Reporting to the Production Manager, Production Operators participate in the full life cycle of production.
Title: Production Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Mesquite, TX
Pay: $17.00
Hours: Monday-Friday 2:45 PM - 11:30 PM (Overtime as needed) with rotating weekends or working 6 days a week with a day off during the week. Must be open to working Sundays.

Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of batches and operations of process equipment
- Stage materials
- General housekeeping
- Motoring of assigned equipment
- Load materials into mixers and/or work controls for batches
- Full support of safety and quality assurance
- Package and move batches back out for shipping
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 + years Sit-down forklift experience
- Strong math and reading skills
- Able to follow instructions
- 2+ years of Manufacturing and machine operating experience
- Ability to work in noncontrolled environment
- Punctual/Reliable
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, stand for long periods of time, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Background check and drug screen will be administered
Other
- PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe boots) must be worn at all times on the floor.
- Shorts and sleeveless shirts prohibited.
