Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is looking for an experienced Long Haul CDL Driver for OTR deliveries for a chemical manufacturing and supply company in Midland, TX.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years with their CDL license with Tankers and Hazmat Endorsement.
Pay: $27-$30/hr DOE
Shift: Monday through Friday, on call throughout weekends, client is offering OT to all long haul drivers.
Immediate start following interview.
Responsibilities:
- On-time daily trips to specified locations, may be within or out of Midland, TX area
- Weekly trips outside of the Midland, TX area must be willing to travel
- Read sight glass level indicators and record the delivered quantities
- Operate various pumps with hoses, risers and valves
- Interact with management and customers
- Clear documentation of all paperwork including Field Delivery Tickets goods
- Complete inspection reports (pre-job hazard assessment forms, per-trip inspection logs & en route log books)
- Ensure routine maintenance of pumps and inspections of hoses
- Routine vehicle maintenance and housekeeping
- Commitment to safety, environmental and industrial hygiene practices
- Outstanding safety performance and consistent environmental compliance
- Will require operations of 10 speed transmissions
- Completes truck summary, driver’s log and other backup detail daily.
- Must observe and adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and BSE driver policies.
- Must have a full understanding of truck routes and may coordinate deliveries with our own trucks.
