Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our clients team in Hobbs, NM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engines, with specific expertise in Cummins and Detroit engines, as well as heavy equipment maintenance.
Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
Location: HOBBS, NM
Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment, including Cummins and Detroit engines. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and engine tune-ups. Troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues to determine the best course of action for repair. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a similar industry. Expertise in working with Cummins and Detroit engines is required. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
