Salary: $27 - $38 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Express Employment Professionals is on the lookout for skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our clients’ teams in Midland, TX; Pecos, TX; and Hobbs, NM. If you have a solid background in diesel engines, particularly with Cummins and Detroit engines, and a passion for heavy equipment maintenance, we want to hear from you!
Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining diesel equipment operation by performing inspections and preventive maintenance, specifically focusing on semi-trucks and heavy machinery. Your expertise will ensure that our clients’ equipment runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment, particularly Cummins and Detroit engines.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and engine tune-ups.
- Troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues to determine the best course of action for repair.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a similar industry.
- Expertise in working with Cummins and Detroit engines is required.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
