Generator Technician

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Field Generator Technician to join our team! In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to repair and maintain natural gas-powered generators and their related equipment. You will be responsible for developing maintenance strategies, ensuring equipment functionality, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve our services.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct maintenance on Mesa units following company standards.
Maintain detailed and accurate service and repair documentation.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Provide outstanding customer service.
Use service checklists to confirm equipment reliability.
Continuously expand your knowledge of Mesa units.
Ensure a safe and tidy work environment.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent; degree in mechanical field is advantageous.
Experience: Proficiency with 3/4 1-ton service trucks and trailer towing is required; 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Familiarity with basic hand tools, electrical systems, and engine diagnostics is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs; capable of working in confined spaces.
Frequent standing, bending, and driving will be necessary.
Additional Requirements:
Must be willing to participate in a background check and drug screening.
Availability for occasional evening and weekend work is essential.
