Shop Tech Position available in Midland TX!
Join our Team as a Shop Tech! This entry-level position provides hands-on experience in mechanical trades. You'll work closely with experienced technicians, assisting in inspections, fuel system cleaning, parts replacement, and more, laying a strong foundation for your career in maintenance.
Essential Duties:
Assist in routine inspections and modifications of natural gas engines and generators.
Perform load testing and document work performed.
Make electrical and mechanical modifications to control circuits.
Clean and maintain work areas and assist with inventory management.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school in Automotive/Diesel/NG preferred.
Experience: 0-1 year relevant experience required.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong communication skills and a proactive work ethic.
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb into confined spaces.
