About the Role:

A Packing Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining packing machines to package products efficiently and accurately. This role involves monitoring machine performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation:
  • Set up and operate packing machines according to standard operating procedures.
  • Adjust machine settings to accommodate different product sizes and packaging requirements.
  • Monitor machine performance and identify any malfunctions or errors.
• Quality Control:
  • Inspect products for defects, damage, or incorrect packaging.
  • Ensure that products are packaged correctly and meet quality standards.
  • Monitor product quantity and weight to maintain accuracy.
• Maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machine parts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly.
  • Report any machine malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors.
• Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and quality control data.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Safety:
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors.

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging.
• Knowledge of specific packing machines or equipment.
• Forklift operator certification.
