Job Full Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Industrial General Labor Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards across our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning production areas, machinery, equipment, and common spaces in an industrial environment while following strict safety and hygiene protocols.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize industrial equipment, floors, walls, and production areas

Use industrial cleaning supplies and equipment (e.g., pressure washers, floor scrubbers)

Remove waste, debris, and recyclables from production zones and workstations

Perform deep cleans during scheduled plant shutdowns or changeovers
-
Follow detailed sanitation procedures, especially in food-grade or sensitive environments
-
Refill and maintain cleaning and hygiene supplies (soap, paper products, etc.)

Monitor and report maintenance or safety issues (leaks, spills, hazards)
-
Work safely around heavy machinery and in high-traffic areas
-
Wear required PPE (gloves, goggles, respirators, etc.) and follow company safety rules

Assist with general labor tasks as needed (moving materials, light maintenance, etc.)
Qualifications:
-
Prior experience in industrial or janitorial cleaning preferred, but not required

Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures
-
Ability to work independently and follow instructions precisely

Physically able to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and work in warm/cold environments

Comfortable working around machinery, noise, and cleaning agents

Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts if required

Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Working Conditions:

Industrial plant or warehouse setting

Exposure to loud noise, hot/cold temperatures, and various cleaning chemicals

Shift work may include nights, weekends, or holidays

Must wear PPE at all times
