Job Full Description
NOW HIRING - CERTIFIED MIG WELDER
Pay: DOE
Job Details:
- Perform MIG welding on metal components
- Adhere to standards and specifications
- Ensure proper weld penetration, bead appearance, and reinforcement control
- Accurately read and interpret blueprints to understand weld joint designs, dimensions, and welding symbols
- Clean and prep metal surfaces for welding, including grinding, deburring, and removing contaminants
- Set up and adjust MIG welding equipment parameters like voltage, wire feed speed, and gas flow
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to identify defects and ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate records of welding parameters and quality checks
- Adhere to all safety protocols relating to welding operations, including proper PPE usage and awareness of potential hazards
Job Requirements:
- Certified MIG Welder
- AWS D1.1 Certification
- Ability to accurately interpret and follow blueprints and welding symbols
- Understanding of basic metal fabrication practices, including cutting, fitting, and assembly
- Commitment to maintaining high quality standards and identifying welding defects
