Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Generator Technician in Pecos, TX!
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience as Generator Technician.
Shift: Monday through Saturday 8am-5pm
Salary: $19-$32 Hourly DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, and service generators to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform startup and load bank tests on equipment as required.
- Diagnose issues with generator components, including alternators, wiring, switches, and batteries.
- Utilize engine technical skills for inspection, disassembly, failure analysis, assembly, and diagnosis.
- Identify problems and causes of failure through logical troubleshooting steps and determine corrective actions.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on customer equipment in the field.
- Be available for on-call duties, taking calls periodically as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math and science skills.
- Ability to plan and manage tasks effectively.
- Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience.
