Job Full Description
Express is looking for a dependable, hard-working Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join a major fabricator and distributor for steel safety products in Hutto! If you're handy with a forklift and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift
- Strap, band, and shrink wrap materials
- Cut corrugated pipe using a plasma cutter
- Perform light welding as needed
- Stock materials in the yard and warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (inside and out)
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to lift and move heavy materials (50+ lbs)
- Forklift experience required
- Willing to work overtime as needed (often regularly)
- Positive team attitude and strong work ethic
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
