Job Full Description
Our client, a family-owned manufacturing company in Northeast San Antonio is looking for a Welder for a long term, evaluation-hire opportunity. Pay is $18-$23 an hour depending on experience. The company is looking for someone to become part of the family. It’s a great opportunity to join a close-knit community. The job requires both thinking through an assembly/fabrication plan and production welding of multiple products. Duties for the Welder position include:
- Performing flux-core welding to fabricate/assemble heavy equipment
- Work from drawing and set of parts to determine best method to assembly the product
- Develop initial set-up of assembly then reproduce the work in production welding setting
Requirements for the Welder position are:
- Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds
- At least 4 years’ experience in welding and fabrication
- Requires own equipment to include small hand tools and measuring equipment
