Job Full Description
Our client, an industrial pipe supplier in Northeast San Antonio is looking for a Threader for a long term opportunity. Pay is $17 to $18/hr. Duties for the Threader position include:
- Operate a Landis Pipe Threading machine to thread various sizes of pipe per production sheet.
- Cut, thread, mark outlet holes, and groove pipes.
- Inspect and measure finished products to verify conformance to specifications.
- Apply Teflon paste and tape to the threads daily.
- Divide the pipe pieces by line number per production sheet daily.
- Bundle the pipe pieces and tag the bundle daily.
Requirements for the Threader position are:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous pipe threading and forklift experience is preferred.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Clean and maintain applicable machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- Wrap pallets daily for ripples.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
- Must pass background check

This is a long term opportunity. Hours for the Threader position are 6:00AM to 2:30PM. This will be a stable schedule with overtime potential. Pay is $17 to $18/hr.
