Job Full Description

Our client, a leading regional company in Northeast San Antonio is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity. Pay is $17.00/hr. an hour. Duties for the Shipping/Receiving Clerk position include:

Assist with verifying that all orders pulled are correct before transporting.
All inbound mill orders are unloaded, and product verified against shipping list.
Report defects and shortages to Operations Manager
Cleaning and maintaining warehouse
Create Put-Away lists
Effectively manage warehouse in absence of Warehouse Manager
A good working knowledge of basic math, using weigh scales, and measurement in inches

Requirements for the sit-down Forklift Operator position are:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
At least 3 years recent experience as Lead-Entry Level Manager
Distribute Pick Tickets/Create Transport Tickets
Route Drivers
Create Outbound LTL Shipments/Overnight IRO Transfer Orders
Assist in Deliveries as needed-NON CDL
Concentration, driving, listening, organization, physical (stand, squatting, reaching, walking, sitting, peripheral vision, coordination), basic typing.
Ability to spend 60% of the day walking or standing
Expert at operating sit-down forklift/ clamp truck
