Job Full Description
Our client, an industrial pipe supplier in Northeast San Antonio is looking for a Groover/Grinder for a long term opportunity. Pay is $16. Duties for the Groover/Grinder position include:
- Operate a machine to cut, grind, and groove various sizes of pipe
- Cut, thread, mark outlet holes
- Inspect and measure finished products to verify conformance
- Apply Teflon paste and tape to the threads daily
- Divide the pipe pieces by line number per production sheet daily
- Bundle the pipe pieces and tag the bundle daily
Requirements for the Groover/Grinder position are:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous pipe grooving and forklift experience is preferred.
- Heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
- Must pass background check
