Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities of the Fiber Optic Installer:
· Install fiber optic cables and related equipment in residential homes according to company specifications and industry standards.
· Perform fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing to ensure optimal performance of the network.
· Test systems to ensure the fiber optic cables and equipment are functioning correctly. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the installation process.
· Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards while on the job to maintain a safe working environment.
· Provide exceptional customer service by interacting respectfully with homeowners, addressing their concerns, and answering any questions related to the installation process.
· Installation process, ensuring minimal disruption and timely resolution.
Qualifications of the Fiber Optic Installer:
· Experience with fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing preferred but not required.
· Knowledge of fiber optic cables, tools, and equipment.
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and carrying equipment.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Schedule & Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, overtime as needed.
Pay: Up to $25/HR, DOE
