Express Employment Professionals are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician for a client in the Coryell Area to perform a variety of maintenance and repair activities of moderate difficulty in the upkeep of our facilities, infrastructure, and grounds. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of building renovation, maintenance, and repair tasks, with expertise in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades. You must be proficient in the safe use of common hand tools and light power equipment, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of maintenance and repair activities of moderate difficulty to maintain and improve the facilities, infrastructure, and grounds.

Apply knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades to troubleshoot and resolve building issues.

Operate and maintain hand tools and light power equipment for various maintenance tasks.

Assist with the upkeep and repair of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

Maintain the interior and exterior of buildings, including tasks such as drywall repair, flooring installation, painting, and minor construction.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and facilities.

Work with the team to address maintenance needs promptly and efficiently.

Ensure all tasks comply with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.

Identify materials, tools, and methods necessary to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements:

Knowledge of tools, equipment, methods, and materials used in building maintenance and repair.
