Job Full Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Appropriate usage of all required PPE.
  • Monitor inventory and conduct daily cycle counts. (repetitive counting, accurately and efficiently)
  • Perform follow-up counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Verify product locations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with inventory analysis and quality issues.
  • Conduct location audits.
  • Working semi-unsupervised.
  • Problem solving.
  • Learn to identify several different parts.
  • Use of an inventory locator.
  • Identification of different types of steel: (sq tube, pipe, angle iron, rect. tube, etc.)
  • Identifying different stages in production process: (warehouse, WIP, finish, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to identify and quantify various parts and supplies.
  • Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written or verbal form.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Continuously exposed to outside temperatures and weather.
  • Continuously exposed to a manufacturing/industrial environment.
