This role is key to maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with day-to-day transactions, and supporting the organization’s financial operations. Job Title: Accounting & Finance Support Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Record daily transactions, assist with bank reconciliations, and support financial statement preparation.
- Cash Management: Process cash/check deposits, maintain cash records, and handle petty cash transactions.
- Accounts Payable: Process and verify vendor invoices, issue payments, and reconcile with the general ledger.
- Accounts Receivable: Issue invoices, monitor for delinquencies, and process reimbursements.
- Clerical Support: Maintain records and files, handle mail, prepare documents for data entry, and assist with inventory.
Qualifications:
- Equivalent combination of education and experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency with office equipment, MS Word, and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, in-person and via phone.
