Lead Sheet Metal Worker/Installer
Location: Victoria, TX
Contract Duration: 2 years
Pay: $25+/hr (DOE)
Schedule: 4/10s (Monday - Thursday) with potential overtime
Express Employment Professionals is looking for an experienced Lead Sheet Metal Decker to oversee and work on a commercial building project in Victoria, TX. If you have 3-4 years of experience and leadership skills, this is a great opportunity to take your career to the next level!
Responsibilities:
🔹 Lead a team of sheet metal workers on commercial decking projects
🔹 Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications
🔹 Ensure all work is performed safely and meets project standards
🔹 Train and mentor helpers and less experienced workers
🔹 Coordinate tasks and materials to keep projects on schedule
🔹 Communicate with supervisors and other trades on-site
Requirements:
✔️ 3-4 years of experience in sheet metal decking
✔️ Leadership skills and ability to manage a team
✔️ Strong blueprint reading and troubleshooting skills
✔️ Knowledge of safety protocols and industry best practices
✔️ Physical ability to lift materials and work at heights
