About the Role
As a Quality Control Technician, you’ll ensure our precast concrete products meet the highest industry standards while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

Verifying compliance with PCI (Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute) and other standards
- Supervising a manufacturing crew to improve quality

Conducting and documenting concrete tests (e.g., slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and cylinder breaks), taking corrective actions as needed.

Inspecting raw materials, fresh concrete, and finished products to ensure quality at every stage.

Maintaining accurate records of test results and cylinder breaks per PCI and company guidelines.

Collaborating with production teams to ensure proper mix designs and adherence to specifications.

Performing inspections of wire cage fabrication and finished loads before shipment.

Leading monthly quality control training sessions for plant personnel and tracking training records.

Operating and maintaining testing equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
What We Require

Education: A 4-year degree (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field).

Experience: Proven experience in construction, preferably in concrete production or quality control.

Ability to read and interpret production drawings, engineered plans, and technical manuals.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and maintain quality standards.

Certification: Must be able to earn a PCI certification within one year of hire (training support provided).
