Job Description: Bookkeeper (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper with experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, including assets, credits, and debits. While experience with QuickBooks is not required, familiarity with general accounting practices is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Record financial transactions accurately and timely.
Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Collaborate with other team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable.
Working knowledge of accounting principles, including assets, credits, and debits.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
Quick learner and willingness to adapt to new systems and procedures.
Pay Range: $17 hour
