Pay: DOE $18-$22/hour
Core Hours: 6:00AM – 3:30PM Monday-Thursday; 6:00AM – 10:00AM Friday

The Electrician/Assembler will be responsible for building, installing, and troubleshooting electrical assemblies and mechanical components. This position involves assembling or fabricating mechanical parts, pieces, or products using various tools and equipment according to required specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work and mechanical assembly, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build, install, and troubleshoot electrical assemblies to meet project requirements.
  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Utilize handheld tools such as screwdrivers, drill guns, calipers, tape measures, and others for assembly and fabrication.
  • Maintain an inventory of products in workstations to ensure adequate materials are available.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Identify product defects and document the necessary corrective actions.
  • Rework and/or repair assemblies according to engineering specification changes.
  • Perform all work in compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of electrical experience.
  • 1-3 years of mechanical assembly experience.
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Specific technical or vocational training or certification may be required; may need to pass a ruler test.
  • Must possess own tools necessary for the job.

Physical Demands and Abilities:

  • Ability to regularly lift 30-50 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive tasks regularly, with precision and accuracy.
  • Standing, bending, and lifting required frequently throughout the workday.
  • Strong manual dexterity to assemble parts and pieces quickly and accurately.
