Schedule: 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday and even some Saturdays.
Location: Waco, TX
We are seeking two (2) reliable and experienced Truck Drivers to join our team for inter-company warehouse parts moving. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a clean driving record, and a strong work ethic. This position is responsible for safely transporting parts and equipment between our different company locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining vehicle integrity. Will be operating a Box Truck and/or Truck with flatbed trailer.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class A truck to transport parts and equipment between company locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload parts and equipment, securing cargo as needed to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on the truck, such as checking fluids, tire pressure, and brakes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class A truck driver.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as operate equipment for loading and unloading.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
