Shift: 2nd Shift - 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in mechanical and electrical systems, particularly within an industrial setting. You will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of plant equipment, troubleshooting electrical issues, and executing maintenance functions to optimize operations.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical work
- 3-5 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to work effectively from drawings, sketches, manuals, and verbal instructions
- Solid understanding of maintenance tools and techniques
- Knowledge of 5S/6S manufacturing principles
Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day for an Industrial Electrician Technician may include:
- Maintaining a safe work environment by following company safety protocols and regulations
- Electrical and mechanical repairs: Perform routine mechanical, electrical, and building repairs, and assist with new construction operations, including equipment changes and layout adjustments
- Drawing and fabrication: Create layout and fabrication drawings for the replacement of shafts, brackets, and other components needed for plant equipment
- Complex troubleshooting: Engage in analytical troubleshooting, diagnosing malfunctions, and executing complex maintenance functions
- Utilizing precision tools: Operate a variety of precision instruments to diagnose, dismantle, repair, lubricate, and reassemble units effectively
- Preventative maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of operating machines and equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Record keeping: Accurately maintain records of all work performed, including repairs, material usage, and maintenance tasks, while applying 5S/6S practices for cleanliness and organization
