Job Full Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing piping layouts, assembling and installing pipe systems, and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and effective communication with team leadership.
Select and safely operate appropriate equipment for the tasks at hand.
Plan and lay out piping systems in accordance with technical specifications and project requirements.
Accurately measure, mark, cut, and prepare pipes for welding and assembly.
Proven experience as a fitter( Tact Welder)
Strong understanding of technical drawings and piping schematics.
Assemble, align, and secure piping components using approved methods and tools.
Identify and demonstrate safe and proper use of hand and power tools relevant to the job.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Perform routine maintenance and proper storage of tools and equipment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project phases including safety, quality, and productivity.
Inspect completed assemblies before final welding to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6 Days a week - 10hrs. Monday through Saturday- Fridays leave at 3:30pm.
2nd Shift available also.
