Job Full Description
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team here in Weatherford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and a commitment to producing high-quality work. You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to specifications.
Hours: 1st shift 6am-4pm
Pay per hour: $18.00
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine appropriate welding processes.
- Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Assemble and fabricate metal structures using hand tools and welding equipment.
- Conduct quality inspections of welded areas to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick).
- Knowledge of welding safety practices and equipment maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
