Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components according to specifications and blueprints. Key duties include interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials, performing various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, or Stick), and ensuring the quality and safety of completed work. The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience with hand and power tools, as well as knowledge of welding codes and safety standards, is essential.
MUST HAVE 1-2 EXPERIENCE AS A FITTER
Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-4pm
Pay:$19.00-$21.00 DOE
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant welding/fitting experience 2-3years
- Previous experience in welding and fitting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Must be able to read a tape to the 16th
- Must know how to use a speed square
- Must be able to read blueprints
