Job Full Description
Local Tire shop looking for a Retread Technician. Apply today! Pay is $12 an hour.
Job duties may include but are not limited to:
Inspection of tires and grading of tire casings.
Buffing the tire and preparing the rubber for retreading.
Retread used tires manually or using specialized equipment.
Tread on new tire inventories.
Inspect the interior of the casing
Perform repairs or replacements
Conduct pressure tests and other safety checks.
Curing retreaded tires if needed.
Evaluation to hire on position!
Tire re-treading shop. 5 people in the shop. On feet for 8 hours a day on concrete floor. Dirty, hard and hot/.cold depending on the weather. Will always have work and a pay check but won't be a millionaire working there.
Doctor's, dentist and other appointments are expected to be handled after work. Work schedule is 6am to 2-2:30pm
Heavy lifting - 120lbs on a regular basis
