CDL B Delivery Driver
Position Overview:
We are seeking a responsible, professional, and dedicated CDL B Delivery Driver to operate a cement mixer and deliver products to various job sites. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and be comfortable interacting with customers in a professional manner.
As a CDL B driver, you will be responsible for safely driving and operating a cement mixer truck, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a CDL B vehicle, specifically a cement mixer truck, to deliver products to job sites.
- Safely drive and maneuver the vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
- Load, mix, and deliver cement or related products to designated locations on time.
- Interact professionally with customers to confirm delivery instructions and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records, including delivery logs and customer receipts.
- Follow safety protocols while loading, unloading, and operating the truck.
- Assist with general maintenance or cleaning of the vehicle as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL B driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience operating a cement mixer or similar equipment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work as needed.
