HVAC Maintenance Technician
Position Overview:
A local company is seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal functionality and customer satisfaction. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in HVAC systems and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Perform repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
- Install, replace, or upgrade HVAC components as needed.
- Test and verify system performance using appropriate tools and methods.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and building codes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about work performed and system maintenance tips.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification is a must
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- EPA Certification
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work as needed.
