Job Full Description
Must be HVAC certified
The HVAC Tech is selected by and responsible to the Executive Director.
Definition:
An employee of this class is responsible inspecting equipment and maintaining
equipment. The HVAC Tech works under limited supervision of the supervisor.
General Duties:
1. Maintains geothermal heating and cooling units.
2. Performs preventative maintenance.
3. Is responsible for HVAC repairs.
4. Assist, when necessary, with any other duty as directed by the Executive Director.
5. Consistently presents the Wichita Falls Housing Authority in a positive manner and adheres to customer service guidelines and procedures.
Performance Measures:
Trained and Skilled in HVAC repairs.
Knowledge of methods and techniques of program organization and implementation methods of HVAC.
Communicate clearly with people from a variety of social, economic and racial backgrounds.
Management is appropriately informed of area activities.
