Assembly Technician
Location: Centerville, UT
Pay: $18 - $21/hour (based on experience)
We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a FANTASTIC team in the production of advanced defense electronic systems. This full-time position requires a strong commitment to learning, teamwork, and quality, with a focus on manufacturing electronics in a federally regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic and mechanical systems following work instructions and GMP standards.
- Maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Work closely with team members to meet production goals.
- Keep detailed records of work completed and adhere to documentation requirements.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and work standing for up to 50% of the time.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of work experience or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- U.S. Citizenship required (due to DoD security clearance requirements).
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as IPC-610, IPC-620, or J-STD-001.
