Express Employment Professionals are seeking an experienced qualified candidate for a Quality Control Technician role with a lot of potential for growth in Logan, UT!
The quality control technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet established quality standards. The typical responsibilities and requirements for this position include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-production and post-production inspections of CNC-machined parts to verify adherence to specifications and quality standards. This includes measuring dimensions, checking tolerances, and assessing surface finishes.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and compliance with quality procedures. This involves observing machine operations and identifying any deviations from standard practices
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and any quality-related issues. Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommend corrective actions when necessary
- Work closely with production teams to address quality concerns, provide feedback, and implement improvements. Participate in quality assurance meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in training production staff on quality control procedures and the proper use of inspection equipment.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in quality control or CNC machining are advantageous

Prior experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment, particularly in CNC machining and fabrication, is preferred

Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Strong observational skills to detect defects and ensure products meet quality standards.

Effective verbal and written communication abilities to document findings and collaborate with team members.

Analytical skills to identify root causes of quality issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Schedule and salary:
- $17- $22/hr
- Monday - Thursday
- 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
