Auto Body Technician February 6, 2025

Located in Logan, UT

Pay: $20-$25/hour DOE

Express Employment Professionals are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician in Logan, UT.

This is NOT an entry level position and opportunities for training are not currently available

Pay:

Responsibilities:

Perform auto body repairs including frame straightening, panel replacement, and paint refinishing.
Utilize auto estimating software to assess damage and provide accurate repair estimates.
Execute airless paint spraying techniques to achieve high-quality finishes.
Fabricate parts as needed to restore vehicle integrity.
Weld components using various welding techniques to ensure structural soundness.
Assemble vehicle parts and components according to manufacturer specifications.
Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Use PPE when working on projects
A good driving record
Being able to pass a drug test and a background check

Qualifications:

Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field
Proficiency in auto estimating software is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Experience with airless paint spraying techniques is a plus.
Basic math skills
Ability to fabricate parts and perform welding tasks effectively.
Familiarity with dealership standards and practices is beneficial.
Competence in using power tools and equipment safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Being able to meet the physical demands of the job (Bending, Lifting up to 75 lbs, kneeling, standing for long periods of time)
