Express Employment Professionals are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer in Logan, UT. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and components. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems, including logic controllers and firmware for various applications.
- Utilize MicroStation for creating detailed schematics and layouts.
- Implement system design strategies that incorporate vision inspection systems to enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with project managers to establish project scheduling and ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions.
- Fabricate prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs against specifications.
- Engage in scripting for automation of processes within electrical systems.
- Participate in quantum engineering projects, contributing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Conduct regular assessments of existing systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Travel outside the country is required.
Qualifications and skills:
- Proficient in electrical engineering principles with hands-on experience in system design.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley software
- Experience using SolidWorks for drafting and design purposes.
- Strong scripting skills for automating tasks within engineering processes.
- Knowledge of firmware development and its integration into electrical systems.
- Ability to fabricate components as needed for prototyping and testing purposes.
- Understanding of vision inspection systems and their role in quality assurance.
- Excellent project scheduling abilities, ensuring efficient workflow throughout project lifecycles.
