Job Full Description
We are currently seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator this role will be responsible for daily picking/pulling and storing all warehouse inventory, distribute and issue products throughout production area, accurately and efficiently, recording movement of inventory accurately.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operating a forklift to move product to designated areas.
• Ensure that materials are handled safely and efficiently.
• Unloading inbound materials and report to either Shipping Lead or Department Manager
• Assisting Inventory Administrator on inventory checks.
• Monitoring the inventory and usage of pallets.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, food safety, OSHA, etc. to ensure a safe, secure working environment that meets the company’s goals and achieves customer satisfaction.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES:
• Experience utilizing a RF unit or computer
• 2 years minimal stand-up forklift experience
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment or independently
• Problem solving skills
Pay: $18.50/per hour
Schedule: Full-Time. Shifts between Monday-Friday 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
