Job Full Description
Apartment Maintenance Technician - $22/hr.
Express Employment Orem is searching for an Apartment Maintenance Technician who will have core responsibilities with building upkeep. The Apartment Maintenance Technician role will assist with general tasks, such as clean-up, light construction, and some mechanically inclined occurrences. In addition, the Apartment Maintenance Technician will also work with outside contractors and vendors for the completion of large-scale projects. This role will commonly work with a skilled and professional tradesman to collaboratively met deadlines.
Candidates must be honest, punctual, and detail-oriented. The qualified individual is expected to have basic experience in handyman work including plumbing, drywall patching, heating/AC repair, basic electrical, painting, grounds maintenance including sprinkler repair, and other general building maintenance. Individuals must also perform basic property upkeep/landscaping such as mowing, trimming bushes and trees, and performing other routine duties as needed.
A minimum of 1-year related job experience is required.
What we look for in an Apartment Maintenance Technician role:
- Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs., and at times, up to 50 lbs. safely
- Work history in construction, landscaping, or keeping grounds
- Experience using powered equipment and tools
- Communicate clearly and manage a project list
- HVAC knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of HUD/REAC procedures is preferred but not required
- Must have a valid driver''s license and reliable vehicle
