Position Overview: We are seeking an Automotive Paint Prep Technician to help prepare vehicles for the painting process. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive prep, but we are open to training the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare automotive surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers
- Inspect surfaces for imperfections and correct them prior to painting
- Ensure proper mixing and handling of materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and quality standards
- Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines
Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive paint prep or a related field preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
