Job Title: Electrical Estimator – Commercial Construction
Are you an electrical expert who loves crunching numbers and building strong, reliable estimates? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Electrical Estimator to join our growing commercial construction company in Orem, UT!
What We’re Looking For: We need a talented Electrical Estimator who is ready to bring their expertise to the table and help us tackle exciting projects. If you’re passionate about electrical systems, love solving complex problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the job for you! You'll work closely with our team to create accurate, competitive estimates for electrical installations and ensure our projects are on track and on budget.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed and accurate electrical estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to determine the electrical scope of work.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather all necessary information.
- Prepare cost breakdowns, labor and material estimates, and equipment quotes.
- Evaluate and negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.
- Track and update estimates as project details change or evolve.
- Provide cost and time analysis to help guide decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
- Help identify potential risks or issues before they arise and come up with proactive solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience as an Electrical Estimator in the commercial construction industry (you know the ropes!).
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of construction cost estimating software and tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in your estimates.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills – you’re a collaborator!
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
